Middletown Fire Protection District

The Middletown Fire Protection District operates from three modern fire stations. Station # 1 (Headquarters) is strategically located in the eastern portion of the district at 108 Urton Lane. Station #2 is located at 10217 Shelbyville Road toward the western end of the district. Station #3 is located in the northeastern part of our district at 13012 Factory Lane. - For emergency services please call 911.

One of the great events they do each year is a Limo Hop 4 times a year. Middletown's Family Fun Festival organizers. The festivals have had numerous names and incarnations but they have always been a great place to spend some time and unwind. Please join in the fun! Councilman Hal Heiner - District 19

Currently serving in his second term, Councilman Heiner was first elected November 2002, as representative for District 19 to the first consolidated Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Council. Over the course of his first 4-year term, Hal served as Chairman of the Transportation & Public Works Committee, Jobs & Economic Development Committee, and Appropriations Committee. He also served as Vice Chairman of Budget Committee and Community Affairs Community.

Louisville-East Middletown Chamber of Commerce

Working together, the Middletown Chamber of Commerce, facilitates the growth of existing businesses, fosters the establishment of new ones, and strives to create a climate of prosperity for all.

They are also dedicated to the good of the Louisville East-Middletown community at large. Chamber members take leading roles in important community programs, working to enhance the quality of life in the Middletown area and preserve the special life-style that's unique to Middletown.

Middletown Lions Club

The Middletown Lions Club began meeting in May, 1976. The sponsoring club was St Matthews. Charter night was held September 18, 1976 with 23 members. In May 1977 two projects began that still continue today in some manner. Those two projects were eye screenings at the Kentucky State Fair and selling brats at the annual Middletown Festival.

Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday on the month from 6:30-7:30PM. Meetings are held in the basement of St Mary’s Center in back of the Old Middletown Methodist Church- now the Unity Church.

East Louisville Sunrise Rotary Club

The Rotary Club meets weekly for breakfast to discuss timely issues, learn about each others' vocations and interests and hear about current topics from guest speakers. During the year, their speakers cover local, regional, national, and international opportunities and issues as well as those pertaining specifically to Rotary.

Rotary's motto is, "Service Above Self" and their service to the local community changes as perceived needs arise and are met. Suggested service projects are presented to the board and implemented when feasible.
