Posted: April 06, 2011

Baptist Express Care opened Monday, April 4 in the Middletown Walmart at 12981 Shelbyville Road – the third such clinic in Jefferson County to be operated by Baptist Hospital East.

Mayor J. Byron Chapman and State Rep. Ron Crimm were among those on hand to cut the ribbon on the two-bed facility that provides fast, affordable, basic healthcare services such as check-ups, immunizations, screenings and care for minor injuries.

The clinic, which has the capacity to expand to three beds in the future, is open seven days a week. No appointment is necessary.

Other clinic sites are Bashford Manor and Raggard Road in the Shively/Riverport area. All locations accept most insurance plans; prices for services are posted.
